Obituary of Rick J. Wolf

Dansville – Woburn, MA – Rick J. Wolf, 57 years of age, passed away January 18, 2018 at his home in Woburn., MA.  Rick was born July 14, 1960 in Wayland the son of Ronald J. Wolf and Jean (Girardin) Wolf. 

Rick grew up in Dansville and was a graduate of Dansville Central School.  Subsequent to high school, Rick served his country in the United States Army.  His active duty began October 11, 1978 until his honorable discharge April 18, 1987.  During his active duty he attained the rank of Sergeant Specialist 5 with the 228 Signal Company, 102 D Signal Battalion.  He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Service Overseas Ribbon and the Marksman Medal.  After his active duty he volunteered for Desert Storm as a civilian and worked in communications.  Rick has been employed in the communications field his entire working career; most recently at Polycom in Massachusetts.  He had resided in Massachusetts for many years.  Rick was a New England Patriots fan and he enjoyed travelling to the Octoberfest in Germany.  However Rick mostly enjoyed spending time with his son Jake. 

Rick is survived by his son Jake Wolf of Woburn, MA; his former wife, Fran Wolf of Woburn, MA; his mother Jean Wolf of Dansville; his father, Ronald (Peggy) Wolf of FL; his sister, Rhonda (Jerry) Price of Springwater, his brothers, Randy (Terri) Wolf of Canaseraga and Rusty (Tracy) Wolf of FL; his half-brother Charlie Wolf of FL; his uncle David Wolf of Dansville; along with several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Rick’s family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Saturday May 19, 2018 at 10am at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  Committal prayers, full military honors and interment will take place immediately following at Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.  Contributions in memory of Rick J.
