I was privileged to work with Aliene for over 15 years at Gunlocke. She was a great mentor who taught me the fine art of government orders and how to be a good customer service rep. Although she was a perfectionist, if a mistake was made, she just advised how to correct it. We shared many laughs over tea, at work and she loved that I was Irish and that we could celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at work. One time she had a cold and brought a bottle of cough syrup to work, swigging from the bottle so she could talk to customers - no time for a spoon! She and I shared a love of gardening and she never wore gardening gloves. When I asked her why, she told me she wanted to feel the earth. She loved her faith, family, friends and Gunlocke. Rest in peace, Aliene, you put in the effort!

I worked with Aliene at Gunlocke for many years. She managed the Government orders and managed them to the penny. She was part of the backbone of that company during the glory days. She provided balance in our customer service and was an example of the service we all needed to provide!
