Obituary of Robin Lynn Derick
Cohocton – Robin L. Derick, 56 years of age, passed away Saturday March 29, 2025 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville
Robin was born August 31, 1968 in Johnson City, NY the daughter of Richard L. and Rose (Adams) Deubler. She grew up in Endicott and graduated from Maine Endwell High School. Robin has also resided in Hornell and most recently the Avoca/Cohocton areas. Prior to her disability, Robin worked at Avoca Central School as a bus driver. Robin had many hobbies throughout her life that included gardening, canning, cooking, watching Rodeos and she was an animal lover, especially her dogs! Her children also mentioned she was probably the #1 purchaser of Pepsi!
Robin was pre-deceased by her parents, Richard and Rose Deubler; and a brother in law, Orri Gioffredo. She is survived by her children, Adam Hosmer (Sara Baur) of Avoca, Shelby Hosmer (Ray Mauro) of Cohocton, Codey (Julionna) Derick of Canaseraga, Lucas Derick of Avoca and Hailey Derick of Lindley; her grandchildren, Abigail, Autumn, Ellie, Dakota, Bentley, Baylie, Eleanor and James; her siblings, Chris (Julie) Mix of Owego, John (Jennifer) Deubler of FL, Kellie Gioffredo of NY, Corey (Suzie) Deubler of Apalachin; along with several nieces and nephews.
At this time there will be no formal services for Robin. As Robin was an animal lover, her family has requested memorial contributions in her memory be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
