Springwater – Medina – Louise G. Little, 90 years of age, passed away Wednesday April 23, 2025 at her home in Medina.


Louise was born July 7, 1934 in Brockport the daughter of Clyde and Jennie Draper. She grew up in Brockport and E. Rochester and resided in Greece, NY for many years. Louise and Malcolm Little wed and together they moved to a log home they had built in Springwater in June of 1989. Malcolm passed away soon thereafter on November 11, 1989. Louise eventually moved in with her daughter Donna Spearin and her husband Selwyn on their horse farm in Medina. Once her daughter and husband retired, Louise continued to live there as her granddaughter took over. She loved catering to her grandchildren baking cookies and pies; especially “Grannies nearly world famous Apple Pie!”


Louise was pre-deceased by her parents, Clyde and Jennie Draper; her husband Malcolm Little; and several siblings. She is survived by her children Alan (Jill) Thurston of Hilton, Darryl (Theresa) Thurston of Varysburg, Donna (Selwyn) Spearin of Lecanto, FL and Craig (Cindy) Thurston of Wayland; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.


Louise’s family and friends are invited to her funeral service on Saturday May 3, 2025 at 11am at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at Wayland Village Cemetery.
