Obituary of Melany L. Brooker

Wayland – Melany L. Brooker, 59 years of age passed away Monday June 23, 2025. Melany was born July 23, 1965 in Dansville the daughter of Ernest and Patricia (Totten) Hall. She grew up in Dansville and graduated from Dansville Central School. Throughout the years she has resided in South Carolina, Mt Morris, Nunda for several years and fifteen years ago she moved to Wayland. Melany was very artistic. She loved arts, crafts and music. All music was enjoyed but it was the 1980’s rock she loved the most. However family was most important to Melany. Her unconditional love for them was unending. Melany was pre-deceased by her parents, Ernest and Patricia Hall; her infant brother Bobby; and her sister Starlotte Bassett. She is survived by her companion of many years Paul Sipaila of Wayland - even though they weren’t married she considered him her “husband;” her children, David Brooker of Campbell Sonja Brooker of Wayland, Megan Brooker of Dansville and Emma Melendrez; her grandchildren, Warren Davis, Lillith Parsons and Addalyn Melendrez; her siblings, Leanna (Daniel) Douglas of Nunda, Patricia Hall of South Carolina, Morris Hall of Campbell, Floyd Hall of South Carolina and Patrick “Ed” Hall of South Carolina and Tonya Hall of Dansville. Melany’s family will celebrate and memorialize her life at a later date in a way that will honor her.
