Obituary of Cathi J. Pebbles

Wayland – Cathi J. Pebbles, 60 years of age, passed away Friday July 18, 2025 at St. James Hospital in Hornell. Cathi was born February 20, 1965 in Bath the daughter of James and Joyce (Covell) Feeley. She grew up in Bath and graduated from Haverling High School. Cathi resided in Florida for a bit after high school and then moved back to Bath before settling in Wayland in the mid 1980’s. Cathi and Kerry Pebbles were married August 13, 1987 in Bath and together celebrated over 34 years of marriage prior to Kerry passing away in October of 2021. Cathi opened her home up as an in-home daycare while her children were young and then began an administration career at the office of Dr. Breene in Dansville. She worked there for many years. Cathi’s hobbies throughout the years were many. She loved attending her son’s sporting events, shopping, walking with friends, spending time in the sun, weekend car rides with Kerry, and of course her McDonald’s Diet Coke! Cathi was pre-deceased by her parents, James and Joyce Feeley; her husband, Kerry Pebbles; her brother Brad Feeley and her niece Val Knopp. She is survived by her sons, Kody Pebbles of Rochester and Kyle (Megan) Pebbles of Madrid, NY; her grandchildren, Aidan, Everly, Luke and Jack; her sisters, Tami (Rick) Barrett of FL and Lori (Karl) Wells of FL; her brother and sister in law, Kevin and Janet Pebbles of Wayland; along with several nieces and nephews. Cathi’s funeral service will be private and interment will take place privately at the Wayland Village Cemetery.
