Obituary of Diane E. Jezewski

Wayland – Diane E. Jezewski, 67 years of age, passed away Sunday morning August 24, 2025 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Diane was born May 7, 1958 in Buffalo the daughter of William and Eileen (Jann) Callahan. She grew up in Buffalo and graduated from Kensington High School. Diane and Walter Jezewski wed October 20th, 1984 and together celebrated over 31 years of marriage prior to Walt passing away November 23, 2015. Diane and Walt moved to Wayland in 1985, raising their two sons, Stephen and Jesse. Diane owned and operated her own business, Pollywogs Yarn and Fiber which she started in the late 1990’s. She spun her own yarn from sheep wool and sold her knit goods. She was very skilled and dedicated to her trade and business. She also enjoyed gardening and canning. Diane was pre-deceased by her father, William Callahan and her husband Walter Jezewski. She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Hannah) Jezewski of Bath and Jesse Jezewski (Alyssa Campbell) of Rochester; her mother Eileen Callahan of Bath; her brother John (Kim) Callahan of Florida; along with many nieces and nephews. Diane’s family and friends may call Thursday August 28, 2025 from 4-7pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Diane on Friday August 29, 2025 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church, 206 Fremont St., Wayland. Contributions in memory of Diane E.
