Obituary of Anna Mae Hager

THE PASSING OF ANNA MAE HAGER With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our mother, Anna Mae Allison Hager, of East Lake Road, in Livonia, New York. Born in Chester, West Virginia on June 10, 1926, she passed peacefully in Dansville, New York at the age of 99 years old on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Welcomed by those who went before her, she now rests in the Lord’s house. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Hager; children, Larry Lucas and Sandra Lucas Harmon; parents, Annie Lyons and Ennis Allison; brothers, Elwood Allison, and Cecil Allison; and sisters, Grace Allison Campbell, Ella Allison Raffa, and Mabel Allison Smith, and granddaughter, Cathy Caldwell Marsden. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Lucas Caldwell, and Pamela Lucas Severin (John); thirteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. For over 40 years, Mom was an active and vibrant part of the Conesus Lake and Livonia communities. She loved bingo, card games - especially poker and euchre - and evenings out with friends enjoying live county music entertainment. Full of life, she answered the call when and wherever she was needed, and not so long ago, she was ready to dust off her dancing shoes for a special occasion. The family will hold a private graveside service.
