Obituary of Stephen L. Ingraham
Rochester – Springwater – Stephen L. Ingraham, 77 years of age, passed away Thursday March 26, 2026 at his home in Rochester.
Stephen was born June 13, 1948 in Wayland, NY the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Connors) Ingraham. He grew up in Springwater and graduated from Wayland Central School. After high school he was drafted to the United States Army, serving in Germany for most of the time. Steve’s employment spanned a couple different areas. He worked for 3M in both Honeoye and Rochester; sold cars in Rochester and Canandaigua and for 25 years he worked for Kodak in Rochester.
Throughout the years, Steve resided in Springwater and once he began working in Rochester he moved there and has remained ever since.
Stephen had 3 main hobbies that he was all in on! First and foremost he was an acclaimed Magician! He loved performing at nursing homes, libraries and schools. Second was his train collection and lastly he loved to fish. When he did something he committed to it. Steve also had a fondness for his cats.
Steve was pre-deceased by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret Ingraham; his sister and brother in law, Patricia and Richard Meese; and his nephew, Michael Meese. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Ingraham of Rochester; JoAnn’s children, Jason (Ana) Brightful of Rochester, Michael (Trish) Brightful of Webster and Bethany Brightful of Rochester; his grandchildren, Isabella, Gianna, Noah, Darnel Jr., and Duane; his brother, Ronald (Sharon) Ingraham of VA; his nieces and nephews, Eric (Juanita) Ingraham of NC; Tracy Ingraham (Chris Kelly) of Geneseo, David (Amy) Meese of FL and Trish Meese; his great nieces and great nephew, Amanda (Josh), Megan, Gabriella, Julia and John.
Stephen’s funeral services will be private and at the convenience of his family.
