Obituary of Ronald E. Clark Sr.

Bath / Livonia – Ronald E. Clark Sr., 80 years of age, passed away Monday July 31, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Ron was born May 17, 1943 in Tuscarora, NY the son of Adolphus and Hannah (Hall) Clark. He grew up in the Lindley and Addison areas and throughout his life has resided in Bath (many years), Savona, Campbell, Avon and for the last year, Livonia. Ron and Loretta Decker were married June 5, 1966 in Cameron, NY and have celebrated over 57 years together. Ron served his country in the United States Army from January 27, 1965 until his honorable discharge January 26, 1967. Throughout the years he enjoyed different employment; however the majority was as a maintenance supervisor for EDC Management at Springmeadows Apartments in Bath. Ron was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time in his vegetable garden. In recent years woodworking was a favorite hobby as well. Ron was pre-deceased by his parents, Adolphus and Hannah Clark; a daughter, Victoria Tuttle; a great-granddaughter, Reya Lynn; a brother, Eugene Clark and sister, Eleanor Clark; a brother in law, Carl Crawford; and his father and mother in law, Arnold and Gwendolyn Decker. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Clark of Livonia; his children and their spouses Ronald Jr. and Linda Clark of Bath, Raymond and Annette Clark of Avoca, Ronda Tyler and Bob Buchanan of Bath, Benjamin and Terri Clark of Wayland, Amanda and Jared Lane of Piffard, Angela and Steve Lasher of Livonia and Joe and Amy Clark of Wayland; 27 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; his sibling and spouses, Charles and Cindy Clark of Bath, Wanita and Dave Brockway of Corning, twin brother Donald and Darlene Clark of Lindley, and Alberta Crawford of FL; his brothers and sisters in law, Melvin and Brenda Decker of Campbell, Milta Amidon of Bath, Bonita Meade of Addison, Lecia Decker of Addison, Bryon and Margaret Decker of Bath, David and Tracy Decker of Bath and Deana and Jerry Aiken of Addison; along with many nieces and nephews. Ron’s funeral service will be private and at the convenience of his famil. Committal prayers, military honors and interment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Addison.
