Obituary of Ryan P. McDermott

Atlanta – Ryan McDermott, 24 years of age, passed away Thursday August 11th, 2016. Ryan was born February 12th, 1992 in Rochester the son of Lisa Lewis. Ryan has resided in Atlanta since the age of 6. He loved four wheeling, mud trucks and mowing lawns. Ryan was pre-deceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Gloria Lewis. He is survived by his mother and step-father Lisa Steinmetz and Donald Clark of Atlanta; his siblings, David Steinmetz, Joseph Steinmetz, Theresa McDermott, Allison (Jeremy) Thomas and Jason McDermott (Whitney VanScoter); his aunts and uncles, Bob (Sandy) Lewis, Cathy (Matt) McCarthy and Linda (Patrick) Logan; and his special friend and companion Haley Braziel. Ryan’s family and friends may call Tuesday from 1:00-5:00pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Ryan’s funeral service will be Tuesday at 5:00pm immediately following calling hours at the funeral home.
