Obituary of Scott P. Young

Wayland- Scott P. Young, 60 years of age, passed away Wednesday October 26th in Davenport, FL. Scott was born May 7th, 1956 in Bath the son of Robert and Joyce (Johns) Young. He grew up in the Bath area and for the majority of his life in the Wayland area. Scott and Jane Lander were married May 5, 1979 and together have celebrated over 37 years of marriage. They resided mostly in the Wayland area however in November of 2015 they moved to Florida to enjoy the warm weather. Together Scott and Jane owned and operated Young Supply for over 27 years with Scott being the sales rep for the company. He also drove truck prior to that. Scott was pre-deceased by his sister, Susan Young; and his step-mother, Vera Young. He is survived by his wife, Jane Young of Davenport, FL; his children, Matthew (Emily) Young of Chili, Karin (Patrick) Reimer of Tucson, AZ and Daniel Young (Breanne Fairbrother) of Springwater; his mother Joyce (Clifford) Everdyke of Farmington; his father, Robert Young of Bath; his grandchildren, Sean, Hannah, Rebecca, Natalie and Johnathon; his step-grandchildren, Joshua, Brandon and Grace; his siblings, Steven (Roxanne) Young of Salisbury, NC and Roberta (Doug) Dillon of Canandaigua; along with several nieces and nephews. Scott’s family and friends are invited call Saturday December 17th, 2016 from 2 - 6pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home.
