Obituary of Joyce C. Rieger

Wayland – Joyce C. Rieger, 85 years of age, passed away Tuesday November 1, 2016 at her home in Wayland. Joyce was born June 9th, 1931 in New Jersey. She grew up in and spent many years in the New Jersey area. Joyce and Frederick Rieger were married and together they moved to Bangor, Maine and resided there until 1998 when Frederick passed away. Joyce then moved to the Wayland area where she has resided since. Throughout the years, Joyce enjoyed reading and she loved her cats. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Victor and Mary Fabry; her husband, Frederick Rieger; and a daughter, Debe Rieger. She is survived by her daughters, Irene (Stephen) Smith of Cohocton, Diane Larsen of Tulsa, OK and Leah (Shlomo) Klughaupt of RaAnna, Israel; her grandson, Stephen (Mia) Smith II of Cameron Mills; her great-grandson, Stiehl John Smith; her brother Victor (Diane) Fabry of Short Hills, NJ; and her nieces, Sarah and Victoria Fabry. Joyce requested no services and her wishes will be honored.
