I was so sorry to hear of Helen-Jean's passing. She was always very welcoming whenever we met, particularly at the day care center.

Helen-Jean, my dear friend and sister,
Life is bitter-sweet so often. My years back to Wayland offered many opportunities to join family, friends and make new friends.
One of the pluses I'll always cherish is the day we met and became fast friends. It was easy for me. Your gentleness, kindness, humor, and many interests were captivating. Our mutual love for God and family topped the list. How you loved your family and grandkids.
Before I moved, you took me to the Pancake House--so scrumptious! We planned a trip to visit your friends and to eat the best crab cakes--not meant to be.
My soul grieves for your passing. You helped me so very much with the loss of my son, Bryan and I thank you.
I am so very sorry for your family's loss. My prayers will continue for all of you. May you be among the many to greet me one day as we continue our friendship.

I was so shocked to hear of her passing. I would see her in church and at the pool. A warm greeting always and lots of fun stories. God Bless Her. And Keep Her light always shining in the hearts of those who love her.

I offer my condolences to the family. Although I was not close to Mrs. Schlueter, I had the pleasure of teaching her children, and they were fine young adults during my career. I hope they find strength in the memories of their mother as the years pass.

Helen was a wonderful caring loving person. She is very proud of how her children grew up. She will continue to watch over everyone from heaven above. My deepest sympathy

In loving memory of a special aunt, who was always fun to be with. We would spend hours just talking when we got together. We enjoyed her hospitality--many Christmases and Easters and reunions with lots of yummy food. Oh--and the communions and confirmations and graduations of my cousins--and some weddings!! I was 14 when we were introduced to Helen-Jean and her son, Rodney. My uncle's duties in the Air Force kept them far away from family many times, but it was fun watching the family grow in Springwater. I am 60 now--Helen-Jean has been taken too soon, but I would never deny her her well-earned place in Heaven. Good bye for now--see you at the big reunion in Heaven.
