Obituary of Joseph R. Huber

Springwater – Joseph R. Huber, 52 years of age, passed away early Sunday morning, October 29, 2017 at his home in Springwater.  

Joe was born August 18, 1965 in Dansville the son of Norbert F. and Barbara (Wheaton) Huber. He grew up in Perkinsville and resided there for many years. Joe also resided in Florida for a short period of time prior to moving to Springwater for the past 27 years.  Joe was a 1983 graduate of Wayland Central School and was employed at the former Stone’s Construction Company in Honeoye for 25 years.  Most recently he has been a mechanic for Caskey/Brehm Farms in Springwater.  Throughout the years, Joe was a member of the Springwater Rod-n-Gun Club and the Perkinsville Fire Department.  He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with different projects and working on old cars (especially years ago when he owned a 1969 GTO).

Joe was pre-deceased by his father, Norbert F. Huber and an infant brother Timothy Huber.  He is survived by his daughter, Emily Huber of Lansing, NY; his companion, Robin Selbig of Springwater; his mother Barbara Huber of Perkinsville; his brothers, Norbert T. (Marcia) Huber of Perkinsville and Peter G. Huber of Springwater; his nephew, Joshua Huber; and his nieces Nicole Huber and Dawn Huber.  

Joe’s family and friends are invited to his funeral service on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 3pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  Interment and committal will take place at a later date and at the convenience of his family.  Contributions in memory of Joseph R.
