Obituary of Bernard A. Stremovihtg

Dansville – Bernard A. Stremovihtg, 73 years of age, passed away early Wednesday morning September 12, 2018 at the Bath VA Healthcare Facility.

Bernard was born August 24, 1945 in Dansville the son of John and Pauline (Lawrence Sahrle) Stremovihtg.  He grew up in and has remained a life resident of the Dansville area.  Bernard served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy from September 15, 1965 until his honorable discharge August 27, 1969.

Bernard was predeceased by his parents; along with a grandson, Dakota Pfuntner.  He is survived by his son James (Paulette) Pfuntner of Wayland; his grandchildren, James Jr. and Cameron; his sister Lavina Mastin of Dansville; along with several other family members. 

Bernard’s family and friends may call Saturday from 1-4 pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  His funeral service will be conducted at 4pm at the funeral home.  Military honors, interment and committal prayers will take place immediately following at Greenlawn Cemetery.
