Obituary of Anna-Marie Sepanski

Atlanta – Anna-Marie Sepanski, 90 years of age, passed away late Thursday afternoon, at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.  Anna-Marie was born December 22, 1928 in Mineola, NY.  She grew up on Long Island and moved to the Atlanta, NY area in 1954 and has remained a resident there until her move in 2017 to Geneseo. 

 

Anna-Marie and Henry Sepanski were married February 6, 1949 at St. Killian’s Church in Hicksville and celebrated over 49 years of marriage prior to Henry passing away in April of 1998.  While on Long Island she was a supervisor for the telephone company and for many years Anna-Marie was self-employed at the “Sepanski Farm Market.”

 

Anna-Marie was pre-deceased by her husband, Henry Sepanski; and her brother, Augustine Dyckman; she is survived by her daughter, Lois (Charles) Marsh of Naples, Terrie McKelvey of Atlanta and Janice Sepanski (James Maroulis) of Rochester; her granddaughter, Katherine Alessi of Rochester; her sisters, Gloria (Joseph) Landino of NC and Shirley (Victor) Schumacher of Cohocton; along with many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, “Henry!”

 

Anna-Marie’s family and friends may call Sunday from 1-4pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.  A family prayer service will be held at 10:15 Monday at the funeral home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Anna-Marie at 11am Monday at St. Joseph’s Church, 206 Fremont St., Wayland.  Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Wayland.
