Obituary of Linda C. Conrad

Funeral service has been postponed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Dansville – Linda C. Conrad, 74 years of age, passed away Saturday March 7, 2020 in LasVegas, NV where she was vacationing. Linda was born October 8, 1945 in Craig, CO the daughter of Joseph and Virginia (Tabbler) Knez. She grew up in Colorado and graduated from Moffat County High School in 1964. Soon after graduation Linda met Gerry Conrad and moved back to Wayland. They were married July 20, 1968 and have resided in the Wayland/Dansville areas ever since. Linda was a very active member of Celebrate! Family Church, in Leicester. Her church family was very important to her. She loved travelling; especially their camping trips to the Thousand Island and visiting her siblings in Colorado and Arizona. Linda also loved playing in the dirt in both her flower and vegetable gardens. She really enjoyed her animals over the years, whether it be their dogs, cats, horses or any of their several other pets. Linda always would lend a helping hand, especially with household chores. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Linda was pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph and Virginia Knez; her sister Marianne Stanton; and her daughter, Cindy Conrad. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gerald “Gerry” Conrad of Dansville; her daughter Ronda Stevenson (Mike Perkins) of Dansville; her grandchildren, Collin Stevenson of Perkinsville and Chandler Stevenson of Wayland; her son-in-law John Stevenson of Wayland; her siblings, Veronica (Jacob) Weiand of Atlanta, David (Karen) Knez of CO, Paul (Sherrie) Knez of CO, Theresa (Cliff) Echoles of CO, Margaret (Bill) Davis of OK, Jody (Marlene) Knez of CO, and Michael (Carla) Knez of CO; her in-laws, Kathy (Bruce) Allen of NC, Joe (Cathy) Conrad of FL and Mike Harrington of AZ; along with several nieces and nephews.
