Obituary of Raymond J. St. Pierre

Wayland – Raymond J. St. Pierre, 77 years of age, passed away early Thursday morning April 9, 2020 at his home in Wayland. Raymond was born July 12, 1942 in Southbridge, MA the son of Raymond J. Sr. and Jeanette (Hufault) St. Pierre. He grew up and resided in Southbridge for most all his life prior to moving to Wayland five years ago. Raymond and Bonnie Davis have known each other for over 46 years and on December 30, 1999 they decided to get married! Raymond served his country in the United States Army from December 30, 1960 until his honorable discharge June 26, 1963. Raymond then fulfilled his USAR Reserve duty until November 30, 1966. While in Korea he drove the “Bug Truck” which would try and make the Korean landscape safer for American troops while there. Raymond’s working career spanned a couple different areas throughout his lifetime. For many years he worked in the manufacturing department for American Standard in Munson, MA and the latter part of his employment career he worked in the maintenance department for Stratus Technologies in Maynard, MA. Raymond loved fishing and was very helpful to his wife Bonnie with her arts and crafts. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather that will be dearly missed. Raymond was pre-deceased by his parents, Raymond and Jeanette St. Pierre; His stepmother Christine St.Pierre a grandson, Brian Brown; a sister, Jeanette Roth two brothers Eugene St.Pierre and Joseph St.Pierre Sr. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie St. Pierre of Wayland; his daughters, Joan (Gerry) Bashaw of MA, Cherie (Keith) Brown of NC, Michele(James) Liscio of NJ and Heather (David) Trucheon of NH; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Beatrice Greenleaf of Springwater, Barbara Seuder of PA and Linda St. Pierre of FL; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Raymond’s funeral services will either be private and at the convenience of his family or will be announced at a later date.
