Obituary of Dean W. Catlin

Mt. Morris – Dean W. Catlin, 41 years of age, passed away July 4, 2020 in Mt. Morris. Dean was born July 13, 1978 in Warsaw, the son of Jeffrey and Estella (Harcleroad) Catlin. He grew up in the Mt. Morris area and has remained a life resident. Dean was an artist and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed wood carving, hiking, searching for arrow heads and spending time in the woods whenever he could. Dean was pre-deceased by his grandparents, William and Phyllis Harcleroad, Lloyd Catlin and Don Merle. He is survived by his children, Savannah and William Catlin; his step-children, John and Aubrey Arend; his parents, Jeffrey and Estella Catlin of Mt. Morris; his grandmother, Joyce Merle of Perry; his siblings, Phyllis (Thomas) Hober of Wayland, Estella (Joey) Safford of Perry, Barbara Johnson of Mt. Morris and Alicia Catlin of Oakfield; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many many cousins. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic Dean’s funeral service will be private and at the convenience of his family. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Contributions in memory of Dean W.
