Obituary of Bonnie L. Nicholson

Rochester / Wayland – Bonnie L. Nicholson, 71 years of age, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2020 at her home in Henrietta. Bonnie was born March 31, 1949 in Bath the daughter of Willard and Ethel (Wagner) Fairbrother. She grew up in Wallace; resided in Cohocton and Wayland and as a young woman and then moved to Rochester where she lived for the majority of her life. Bonnie was a graduate of Wayland Central School and was employed at General Motors in Rochester. Throughout her years she worked in many different departments and eventually retired as a supervisor. Bonnie and Ronald S. Nicholson were married September 1, 1970. Ronnie passed away in January of 2014. Soon after Ronnie passed away, Bonnie was able to enjoy the last six years of her life living next to her brother Mike Fairbrother in Wayland. Her hobbies were many! Bonnie enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets; finding all kinds of furniture that she could refinish. She enjoyed her flower gardens; bowling; elephants; loved her dogs throughout the years; and was an avid New York Yankees fan! She will be dearly missed by her family as she was taken much too soon. Bonnie was pre-deceased by her parents, Willard and Ethel Fairbrother; her husband, Ronald Nicholson; her siblings, Jerry, Vicky, Joy and Diana Fairbrother; and her sister-in-law, Angela Fairbrother. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Robert) White; her grand-daughter, Nicole White and her fiancée Clayton Jinks; her brother Michael Fairbrother; her loving and caring niece, Lori Carman; many nieces and nephews; and all her special kids~ she loved them all! Bonnie’s family and friends may call Saturday February 13, 2021 from 11-1 at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St.,Wayland. Bonnie’s funeral service will be private. Interment will take place at Ascension Gardens Cemetery / Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester. Contributions in memory of Bonnie L.
