Obituary of Roberta O. Flynn

Dansville – Roberta O. (Kemp) Flynn, 79 years of age, passed away early Thursday morning May 14th, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Roberta was born October 25th, 1935 in Hume, NY the daughter of John and Irene (Planning) Kemp. Roberta was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Dansville and a resident of the Dansville area for over 60 years. Roberta was pre-deceased by her parents; her husband Louis in May of 1995; along with several siblings. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Flynn (Christopher Callahan) of W. Sparta and Jason Flynn (Christa Smith) of Dansville; her grandchildren, Austin and Hannea Milliman; her sister, Mildred “Peg” Harcleroad of Leicester, her brother Richard (Harriet) Kemp of Dansville; along with several nieces and nephews. A graveside committal service will be celebrated for Roberta on Monday at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Wayland. Memorial donations can be made to the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.
