Obituary of Loretta J. Griffin

Cohocton – Loretta J. Griffin, 78 years of age, passed away Tuesday June 29, 2021 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Loretta was born January 4, 1943 in Groton, VT the daughter of Evelyn Davis. She grew up and resided in many different areas throughout her life and settled in Cohocton in 1989 where she remained until her move to Hornell Gardens and most recently the Steuben Center in Bath. Loretta and David Griffin were married in the late 1960’s and together celebrated many years of marriage prior to David passing away in 2011. Loretta enjoyed watching western movies, listening to 50’s and 60’s music and drawing. She had a love for pets throughout the years and loved her dog “Joe!” Loretta is survived by her sons, Christopher Griffin of Cohocton and Steven Griffin of Corning; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. No funeral services are planned at this time.
