Obituary of Kelley M. (Teed) Sabins

Wayland – Kelley M. (Teed) Sabins, 37 years of age, passed away at Unity Hospital in Rochester, on Saturday November 6, 2021. Kelley was born July 28, 1984, the daughter of Laverne Teed and Wendy Lopez. Kelley grew up in Springwater and has remained a life resident of the Springwater and Wayland areas. She graduated from Wayland-Cohocton Central School in 2002. Kelley loved being around family, friends and helping take care of children. She was affectionately called “Mama2!” as she loved taking care of all. Her pride and joy though was being a mom to Kourtney and making sure she was taken care of. Kelley was pre-deceased by both of her parents, Laverne Teed and Wendy Lopez; and her brother Mathew Belanger. She is survived by her daughter Kourtney Sabins; her step-daughters, Erica, Haley and Tara Sabins; her brothers, Jesse (Rachel) Belanger of Scottsville and Corey Teed of Livonia; her grandparents, Elaine and John Scala of Springwater; and her lifelong best friend who was like a sister, Sara Coombs. Kelley’s family and friends may call Thursday November 11, 2021 from 4-7pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Kelley’s funeral service will be private and at the convenience of her family. Committal prayers and interment will take place at Covered Bridge Cemetery in Springwater.
