Obituary of Robert L. Sharp

Wayland – Robert L. Sharp, 63 years of age passed away early Sunday morning, November 14, 2021 at his home in Wayland. Robert was born August 27, 1958 in Germantown, KY. He resided in Kentucky until 2001 when he moved to Wayland. While in Kentucky, Robert worked for UPS for a time and then Dish Network. Most recently he delivered pizza for Leaning Tower to keep busy. His hobbies were many. Robert enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes corn hole and cards. He had an excellent voice and enjoyed singing karoke! Robert enjoyed babysitting, was an excellent cook and loved to camp. He would help all who needed it, never had a bad word to say about anyone and was an all-around good guy! Robert and his companion of over 14 years, Tamra Baker met on an on-line dating service and it turned out they were in the same campground. They met and have been together ever since! Robert is survived by his longtime girlfriend and companion, Tamra Baker of Wayland; Tamra’s son and daughter, Dylan Baker (Morgan McGregor) of Wayland and Deidre (Adam) Gascon of Dansville; his grandchildren, Xavier, Emma, Maximus, Graceland, Saiya, Darion and Harper; his dog, “Izzy;” along with Tamra’s extended family. Robert’s funeral services will be private and at the convenience of Tamra and her family.
