Obituary of Susan C. Wood

Wayland – Vass, NC – Susan C. Wood, 69 years of age, of Vass, NC and recently of Wayland, passed away Sunday December 26, 2021 at the home of her daughter. Susan was born in Rochester, NY on May 21, 1952 to Lillian Jones and Leo Wood Sr.. Susan’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Susan was pre-deceased by her parents and one sister, Louise Creller. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Inscho (Joe Delio) of Avoca and Jody Inscho Dodge (Andy Miller) of Wayland; her son, Jerry Riley of Vass, NC; her sister Carrie Butler of Hornell; her brother Leo Wood of Hornell; several half siblings; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her childrens’ father, Ray Inscho of Wayland; her very best friend Jeri Hally of Springwater; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Susan’s request there will be no services.
