Obituary of Beverly M. Hart

Wayland – Hornell – Beverly M. Hart, 73 years of age, passed away Friday January 7th, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Beverly was born in Wayland August 21, 1948 the daughter of Henry and Rolande (Beaupre) Belanger. She grew up in Wayland and graduated from Wayland Central School. Throughout the years, Beverly has resided in Wayland, Rochester, Arkport and since 1994 she has lived in Hornell. Bev worked at Rochester Telephone in Rochester and she also was a waitress at the Truckstops of America in Dansville for a number of years. Her hobbies were many! She was very social; loved to play cards and Bingo; she was a member of the “Lunch Bunch;” and she enjoyed shopping. Bev loved animals - especially dogs. However it was her family that she loved most. Spending as much time with them as she could; especially holiday and birthday dinners that were celebrated at the nursing home with her. She cherished that time as did her family. Bev will be dearly missed by her loving family. Bev was pre-deceased by her father, Henry Belanger and her nephew Mat Belanger. She is survived by her mother, Rolande Belanger of Arkport; her children, Michelle Knudsen of Honeoye Falls, David (Erika) Hart of Dansville, Steven (Kari) Hart of Niagara Falls and Jennifer Hart (Marc Negrotto) of Dalton; her grandchildren, Allen Knudsen, Sabrina (Jay) Williams, Emily Motyka, Ethan Hart, Gavin Hart, Anthony Watt and Alivia (Shawn) Fox; her great-grandchildren, Zeiler, Kolby and Kylie; her siblings, Rodney (Dinah) Belanger of FL, Karen (Patrick) Cardinale of CA, Joanne Bisson of Arkport, Wayne (Anna) Belanger of Geneseo, and Janine (Jeff) Fields of CA; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews: and many cousins that were a very important part of Bev’s life. Bev’s family and friends may call Friday January 14, 2022 from 1-3pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Bev’s funeral service will be at the conclusion of calling hours (3pm) at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Beverly M.
