Rest in peace mom. It's been two months now since your death. At least you don't have to suffer anymore. As I said before, with you donating your body to the University of Rochester for research purposes you are giving researchers the opportunity to learn more about this cancer and make future medical breakthroughs and maybe once they do make one it will be medical news. Whatever caused you to have this incurable cancer I hope the researchers dig up some answers and find the root cause. Losing your life at 52 is hard to stomach. She did one hell of a job teaching my brothers and I about what the world is like.

I knew Sam when she worked Gunlockes. She was a wonderful caring young lady. We went out one night for a girls night out when she still had her BRAT and boy what a ride and adventure that was,lol This woman was the best friend that anyone could evr have and she was always right there to rally around what she believed in. Heaven gained one big handful of fun and love when they took her. she will be missed by many. Her heart and soul will remainin every one she ever touched. Miss you Sam.

She definitely was a spitfire for sure. She was tough on me growing up, but she just wanted my brothers and I to become respectable adults. I did have rough rides with her during the course of my childhood and early adulthood but over the course of time, she mellowed out and I patched up my relationship with her and I'm glad I did. I just could not imagine her not feeling at peace if I did not repair my relationship with her. She was the best mother I could of ever asked for. She is the reason I'm the hard working, independent person I am today and I'm also glad I took the time to go see her the week of Memorial Day, flying up from Tennessee, to say my goodbyes. It really did put me at peace but that does not take away any pain that I may still feel from losing her. I will miss the advice she would give without sugar coating it as well as being there for me when I needed her. I will be sure to do that for my future kids if I ever have any and to install the values she put into me, into them. Goodbye Mom. I will miss you more than anyone could ever fathom, even if I don't show it. I've got your blood and your willpower, so I know I'll be just fine. I'll see you in the next life.

I consider myself lucky to have been friends with Sam. She was one of a kind & touched the lives of so many people (& animals). I could always talk to her about anything & she always had my back. I'll miss you & that contagious smile. Give Heaven some Hell!
