Obituary of James F. Robords

Wayland – James F. Robords 72 years of age, passed away Wednesday morning June 15, 2022 at his home in Wayland. Jim was born December 8, 1950 in Bath the son of Orrin and Mary Lou (Cooper) Robords. He grew up in the Avoca/Wallace areas; resided in Prattsburgh for many years and settled in Wayland 10 years ago. Jim worked for the Prattsburgh Milk Plant for over 25 years; worked for TC Packing in Wayland and owned and operated a cleaning business. Jim enjoyed working on small engines and motors and could fix just about anything. Fishing was a favorite when he could. Jim was well liked by all his friends and coworkers wherever he was. He also had a mind of his own and no one could change it! Jim was pre-deceased by his parents; and a son David J. Robords. He is survived by his wife Linda Robords of Prattsburgh; his children, Lisa (Sean)Stillman of Arkport, Jason Robords of Howard and Brett Robords (Fawn Ortiz) of Potter; his grandchildren, Britney, Sean, Caitlin, Joseph, Hunter, Jacob, Cameron, McKade and Ainsley’; 7 great-grandchildren; step-son, Robert L. Scott of Corning; his siblings, Barb (Steve) Paddock; Jeff Robords, Harry Robords (Teresa Sawyer), Molly (Joe) Brewer and Polly (Mike) Steffan; along with several nieces and nephews. Jim’s family and friends may call Monday June 20, 2022 from 6-8pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.
