Obituary of James M. Fitzpatrick
Wayland / Arkansas – James M. Fitzpatrick, 62 years of age, formerly of Wayland and currently a resident of Arkansas for many years passed away October 23rd, 2014 in Arkansas.
James was born February 24, 1952 in Wayland the son of Robert and Marguerite (Stephens) Fitzpatrick. He grew up in Wayland and was a graduate of Wayland Central School. He served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he resided in many different areas, including Guam, Thailand and eventually settling in Austin, Arkansas, near Little Rock.
James was pre-deceased by his parents; his first wife, Et Fitzpatrick; infant brother, Robert J. Fitzpatrick; and brother, Robert Dennis Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his 3 sons, John, Joe and David Fitzpatrick; his grandchildren; his siblings, Norberta “Bertie” Brown of Wayland, Teresa Weber of Wayland, Ruth Ann (David) Wray of Angelica, Nora (Wayne) Garrett of Linwood, Colleen (George) Drum of Farmington, and Brian (Becky) Fitzpatrick of Dryden; along with several nieces and nephews.
James’s family and friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service with military honors, Sunday September 6th, 2015 at 12:00pm at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Perkinsville. James and his family have been assisted by the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland.
