Obituary of Anna L. Cisco

Wayland – Perkinsville – Rochester – Anna L. “Butch” Cisco, 80 years of age, passed away Wednesday evening, August 17, 2022. Anna was born in Dansville the daughter of Robert and Anna (Bricks) Lawrence. She grew up in the Wayland and Perkinsville areas and resided there for many years prior to settling in Rochester. Anna graduated from Wayland Central School and then earned an Associate’s degree from Alfred College. She began a career at Kodak in Rochester in 1961 and stayed there for 30 years. Anna began in the typing pool and worked her way up to Administrative Assistant to the Head of Research and Development. Upon retiring from Kodak, Anna went back to school and became a licensed Massage Therapist, which she did for many years before finally retiring. Anna enjoyed gardening, knitting and skiing throughout the years. However her passion was reading books. She enjoyed hundreds of them! Anna was pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Anna Lawrence; and her favorite sister Mary Walker. She is survived by her daughter Pam (David) Haettich, grandson David of Springville; and siblings, Diane (Ted) McGilvray of MA, Pat Shafer of Victor, Carol Mykel of Perkinsville, Linda (Ron) Sahrle of Perkinsville, Roberta Smith of Nunda, Debra (Rod) Wehnau of Penn Yan, Robert (Tina) Lawrence of Sparta, Laurie Lawrence of Lake Mills, WI, Beth (Henry) Shaw of Springwater and Bill (Stephanie) Lawrence of Shortsville; along with many, many nieces and nephews. Anna’s family and friends will celebrate her life in their own special way as she requested no formal funeral services.
