Obituary of Carole A. Bonadonna

Manchester / Wayland – Carole A. Bonadonna, 75 years of age, passed away early Friday morning, August 26, 2022 at The Homestead at Soldiers and Sailors in Pen Yann. Carole was born October 18, 1946 in Nunda the daughter of Philip and Norma (Shetler) Englert. She grew up in Atlanta, NY and was a 1965 graduate of Wayland Central School. Over 40 years ago, Carole moved to Manchester where she has remained ever since. Carole worked as a Tow Motor operator at Xerox in Rochester for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and the slot machines at the casino. Carole loved ceramics as they were her passion. She owned and operated her own ceramic business attending many craft shows. Christmas was a very special time of year that she loved. Carole was very generous with her gifts for family and with strangers while donating through the Angel Tree program. Carole was predeceased by her father, Philip Bonadonna and a sister, Fran Bonadonna. She is survived by her mother, Norma Englert ; her sisters, Donna Garrison and Linda (Terry) Conklin; her brothers, Bill Englert (Brandy Kinney) and Scott, Philip, Mark and Randall Bonadonna; her nephews, Mike (Peggy) Bonadonna, Corey (Tina) Garrison, and Joshua and Jason Conklin; her niece Heather Bonadonna; along with several great nephews and nieces. Carole’s family and friends may call Monday August 29, 2022 from 12-1pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. Her funeral service will be at 1pm at the funeral home. Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Wayland.
