Obituary of Robert John Woodhams

Wayland – Robert John Woodhams, 70 years of age, passed early Friday evening, November 25, 2022 at his home in Wayland. Bob was born June 11, 1952 in Wayland the son of Donald Sr. and Mabel (Dieter) Woodhams. He remained a life resident of the Wayland area. Bob was a graduate of Syracuse University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Water Treatment. He worked for the village of Wayland for 15 years as the Water Treatment Plan Operator. He also owned his own sawmill and had a woodworking and firewood business for many years. Bob and Connie Buchanan were married in Wayland on April 24, 1971 and together have celebrated over 51 years of marriage. Heloved riding his Harley Davidson, playing billiards, woodworking and driving his MG Midget! Bob was pre-deceased by his parents, Don Sr. and Mabel Woodhams; his brother Don Jr. and his sister, Mary Buckley. He is survived by his wife, Connie Woodhams of Wayland; his two sons, Tracy Woodhams (Sindy) of Walworth and Brian Woodhams (Aimee Zimmer) of Wayland; his grandchildren, Alex Morrow (Karena Withrow), Ryan Woodhams (Laney Murray), Conner Woodhams (Valerie Bloss), Morgan Woodhams, Devin Zimmer, Taylor Mann and Mason Mann: his great-grandchildren, Ryan Joseph Jr. and Willow Grace; his brother Rich (Gail) Woodhams of Wayland; his adopted family that has been around most of their life, James (Alicia) DiSalvo and Michael and Karly DiSalvo, all of Dansville; along with many nieces and nephews. Bob’s family and friends are invited to the Wayland Village Cemetery on Monday November 28, 2022 at 2pm for a graveside service. Contributions in memory of Robert J.
