Atlanta – Albert A. Rook, 73 years of age, passed away Saturday June 3, 2023 at Maple City Rehabilitation in Hornell.

Albert was born February 22, 1950 in Wayland the son of Thomas and Ida Mae (Harris) Rook. He grew up in and has remained a life resident of the Atlanta area. Early in his life Albert moved in with his cousin Satch Chapman. They became close and were friends for life. He worked for Satch his entire working life and when he passed away Albert was not the same.

Albert had many hobbies. He loved to build and work on lawn mowers; loved music; gambling at the casino; talking to all people was a favorite of his and his cats were most important to him!

Albert was pre-deceased in life by his parents, Thomas and Ida Mae; his brother Carl Rook and his sister Rosie Rook. He is survived by his brother, Theodore Rook of Bath; nieces and nephews; and especially the Chapman family.

There will be no funeral services for Albert per his request.
