Sarasota, FL – Robin D. Glady, 66 years of age passed away early Thursday morning October 26, 2023 at Tidewell Hospice Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL.

Robin was born March 25, 1957 in Jamestown, NY the son of Robert and Lola (Pragle) Glady. He grew up in Tonawanda, NY and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1975. Robin then earned his Associates of Applied Science in Communications from Niagara Community College. Along with Jamestown, he resided in Erie, PA, Buffalo, NY, Titusville, FL and finally settled in Sarasota, FL for the past several years. Robin enjoyed different jobs throughout the years including being a tour guide, disc jockey and he worked in freight logistics.

Robin was an avid fan of Walt Disney World, the Buffalo Bills and he loved various Holiday house decorations.

Robin was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Lola. He is survived by his sister, Laurie Drescher of Pollocksville, NC; his nieces, Lee Ann Mallard (Chuck) of Pollocksville, NC and Jenna Drescher of New Bern, NC; his nephew, Edward Drescher III (Serena Lawson) of Broadway, NC ; his great-nephews, Nixon and Braxton Mallard; along with many supportive and loving cousins.

Robin’s family will have a private memorial service for him along with interment at Ashley Cemetery in Springwater.
