Obituary of Colleen M. Renno

Wayland – Colleen M. Renno, 68 years of age, passed away early Sunday morning, Janaury 14, 2024 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Colleen was born October 26, 1955 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of John E. and Corrine M (Bock) Corcoran. Throughout the years she has resided in several different areas including Cleveland, Brighton, NY, West Bloomfield and in 1983 she moved to Wayland and has remained there ever since. Colleen graduated from Brighton High School in Rochester and earned an AAS in Accounting from Monroe County Community College. Colleen and William J. Renno were married February 27, 1984 and celebrated over 36 years together prior to Bill passing away in September of 2020. Colleen loved quilting. She was a member of a quilting group with her friends for years, making quilts for charity that included veterans, children and nursing homes. Colleen and Bill loved going to Florida for the winter camping in their motorhome. However, Colleen’s greatest joy for the past several years has been doting on her granddaughter, Violet. Colleen was predeceased by her parents, John and Corrine Corcoran; her husband, William “Bill” Renno; and a sister, Mary Alice Zimmer. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Marjorie) Renno; her granddaughter Violet; her step sons, Douglas Renno and William “Skip” (Patricia) Renno; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; her sisters, Cecile (Jay) Chapin and Anne (Bret) Rockwell and her brother, John P. Corcoran; along with several nieces and nephews. Colleen’s family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 11am at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland, NY 14572.
