Obituary of Michele A. Smith

East Bloomfield – Michele A. Smith, 56 years of age, passed away early Thursday evening, February 8, 2024 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Michele was born September 20, 1967 in Manhattan, NY the daughter of Frederick and Virginia (Clark) Wisman. She grew up and resided in the Queens/Brooklyn areas and then moved to Rochester. On October 12, 1999 Michele met William “Bill” Smith and moved to Bloomfield, remaining there for the past 25 years. They wed on February 25, 2012 in Bloomfield. Michele loved baseball and softball and the NY Yankees were her favorite team. She was an avid reader, enjoyed relaxing and spending time with her family and friends and of course her dogs! Throughout the years Michele also helped out at the East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department with Bill. Michele was pre-deceased by her parents, Frederick and Virginia Wisman. She is survived by her husband, William Smith of Bloomfield; her son, Timothy (Julie) Allen of Corning; her step sons Ryan (Tracy) Smith of NC and Kyle (Jamie) Smith of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Logan, Henry, Derek and Cecelia; her mother and father in law, Margaret and Clair Smith of Canandaigua; her sister Robin Wisman of CT and her niece, Amanda Cruz of NJ. Michele’s Celebration of Life will be on Friday February 23, 2024 at 5pm at the East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department, 105 Main St., Bloomfield. Interment will be at Bath National Cemetery at the convenience of her family. Contributions in memory of Michele A.
