Obituary of Sheila K. Case

Wayland – Bonita Springs, FL – Sheila K. Case, 78 years of age, passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2024 at the Vincent House in Wayland. Sheila was born February 26, 1946 in Wayland the daughter of Eugene and Hilda (Knight) Robinson. She grew up in Wayland and graduated from Wayland Central School. Sheila then earned her Associates Degree from Alfred State College. Throughout the years, Sheila worked at Bausch and Lomb, The Gunlock Company, she was a representative for Mary Kay Cosmetics, owned and operated an Antique Store and worked at the family business, Greater Tater. Sheila and Antone R. Case were married June 18, 1966 in Wayland and together celebrated over 45 years of marriage prior to Antone passing away April 18, 2012. Sheila loved her home in Florida and as the years went on, she spent more and more time there. Golfing was her favorite past time and being Ladies Club Champion at both Whispering Hills Golf Club in Conesus and Hunters Ridge Golf Club in Florida was a proud accomplishment. Other hobbies were music, dancing, and swimming, enjoying time on the beach, antiques, fashion and interior decorating. Sheila was pre-deceased by her parents, Eugene and Hilda Robinson; and her husband Antone R. Case. She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Case Robinson of Wayland and Antone (Heidi) Case of Wayland; her grandchildren, Alexis Robinson, Aislinn, Elysia, Soleille, Mielo and Antone Jr. Case; her siblings, Monique (Mike) Summerfield, Kim Robinson and Kevin (Melody) Robinson; along with several nieces and nephews. Sheila’s graveside funeral service will take place later this year at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Wayland and will be announced as it is finalized. Contributions in memory of Sheila K.
