Obituary of Tarry Ann Priestly

Dansville – Tarry Ann Priestly, 67 years of age passed away Monday morning, December 2, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Tarry was born September 20, 1957 in Rochester the daughter of John and Fran (Taskey) Priestly. Tarry has resided in many different local communities throughout her life including, Rochester, Hornell, Springwater, Canaseraga and Dansville. Tarry was an active volunteer in Dansville at the YMCA, the Senior Center of Dansville and her church, Free Methodist Church of Dansville. Her hobbies were many! She enjoyed baking, crocheting and knitting. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Tarry loved serving her family, friends, church and the local community. Tarry was pre-deceased by her parents, John and Fran Priestly; and her brother James and Jack. She is survived by her daughters, Candy (Mark) Jones of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Theresa Ferrainolo of Rochester; several grandchildren and one great grandchild; her siblings, Rose Priestly of Dansville, John Jr. (Robin) Priestly of West Monroe, LA, and Jo (Mike) Szymanski of Honeoye; along with many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be planned for Tarry at a later date at the Free Methodist Church in Dansville and announced at that time. Contributions in memory of Tarry A.
