Rochester – Barbara J. Ward, 73 years of age, passed away Saturday January 11, 2025 at Bradford Manor Nursing Home in Bradford, PA where she has resided for the past several years.

Barbara was born August 15, 1951 in Rochester the daughter of Robert and Mary (Devaney) Ward. She grew up in Rochester and remained a resident there until her move to Bradford. Barbara was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and kept the Catholic Religion close to her for her entire life. She enjoyed talking about God and Religion and her feistiness and temperament produced some exciting conversations. Barbara enjoyed genealogy and she was a collector of many things. Her family was important to her. She enjoyed visiting them, especially her grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Barbara was pre-deceased by her parents, Robert and Mary Ward. She is survived by her siblings, Susan Ward of Bristol, NY, James Ward of Canadice, NY, Kathi (Shane) O’Leary of FL, Michael (Linda) Ward of Perinton, Patricia Cremaldi of Hilton, Gearre Hudgins of SC and Jeanne (Robert) LeGault of Buffalo; Also by Drew Miller of Rochester, her significant other; along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Barbara’s family and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday January 22, 2025 at 11am at St. Joseph’s Church, 206 Fremont St., Wayland, NY 14572. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
