Obituary of Edward C. Stahl

Dansville / Batavia – Edward C. “Eddie” Stahl, 42 years of age, passed away Wednesday morning March 16th, 2016 at his home in Batavia. Eddie was born August 30th, 1973 in Canandaigua, the son of Newton and Anne (Schiavi) Stahl. He grew up in Avon, however he received his high school diploma from Greece Athena High School in 1993. He then attended college at MCC studying Culinary Arts. Throughout his life, Eddie resided in many different areas including; Avon, Greece, Rochester, Canandaigua, Canadice, Honeoye, back to Rochester, Dansville and most recently Batavia. While in Batavia, he resided at the Living Opportunities of DePaul. His hobbies were many as he enjoyed board games, card games (especially UNO), and he took great pleasure in cooking. Eddie liked to socialize as he was gifted with the ability to talk with anyone. He had a very kind and big heart and would give the shirt off his back to those in need. Eddie also was a huge fan of Mickey Mouse. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Eddie was pre-deceased by his father, Newton Stahl in 2006 and his mother Anne Stahl just 3 weeks ago. He is survived by his sister, Amy Schiavi ( Kelly Mychalishyn) of Dansville and his twin sister, Rita (Brandon) Morrow of Dansville; his nephews and niece, Joshua, Brynn, Andrew and Anthony; his aunts, Dorothy Schiavi of Dansville and Rita (Arthur) Christenson of CO; along with many cousins. Eddie’s family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday April 9th, at 11:00am at St. Pius Church in Cohocton.
