Obituary of Sandra Lee Allison

Cohocton / Bath / Canandaigua – Sandra Lee Allison, 73 years of age, passed away Thursday June 23rd, 2016 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. Sandy was born January 4th, 1943 in Rochester the daughter of Jack and Betty (Henderson) Beach. She grew up in Wayland and in the early 1960’s she moved to Cohocton. In the mid 1990’s, Sandy moved to Bath where she resided until her move to Canandaigua eight months ago. Sandy’s most recent employment was a certified nursing assistant at Taylor Health, a job she enjoyed for many years. She enjoyed listening to country music, adored her cat and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sandy was pre-deceased by her parents. She is survived by her loving companion of over 30 years, Fred Lewis of Avoca; her children, Jay (Connie ) Allison of Loon Lake, Mark (Lisa) Allison of Macedon, Jeff Allison of Dansville and Tim (Robin) Allison of Cohocton; her grandchildren, Lindsey (Brock) Hankins, Taylor Allison, Michael Allison, Kyle, Amanda and Jeffrey Allison, and Emily, Olivia and Christopher Allison; one great grandchild, Jay; her sister Maggie (Corky) Zeh of FL and her brother Les(Shirley) Motter of NC; along with nieces and nephews. Sandy’s funeral service will be private and at the convenience of her family.
