Obituary of Andrew L. Fox

Wayland – Andrew L. Fox, 58 years of age, passed away Sunday July 3rd, 2016 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Andy was born May 13th, 1958 in Dansville the son of Joseph and Sally (Briggs) Fox. He grew up in Wayland and has remained a life resident of the Wayland area his entire life. He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s grade school and a 1977 graduate of Wayland Central School. Andy enjoyed working on the family farm, Fox Farms and now Mehlenbacher Farm. Andy enjoyed being around people and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He would always speak to you and say hello and take the time to talk with you if you wished. Andy was also a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church his entire life. Andy was pre-deceased by two sisters; Renee Fox and Deborah Repka. He is survived by his son, Christopher; his parents Joseph and Sally Fox of Wayland; his siblings, Daniel (Rose) Fox of Wayland, Jane (David) Mehlenbacher of Cohocton and Joseph M. Fox of N. Chili; his nieces and nephews, Terra (Josh) Longe of VA, Autumn Fox (TJ Canfield) of VA, Kurt (Stephanie) Mehlenbacher of Wayland, Eric Mehlenbacher of Wayland and Jonathan and Katilian Fox of N. Chili; along with great nephews and great nieces. Andy’s family and friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. A family prayer service will be offered Thursday at 10:15at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Andy Thursday at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church in Wayland. Committal prayers and interment will take place immediately following at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Andrew L.
